General purpose products for steel and copper. Its detergents allow rapid penetration and emulsification of drawing and stamping compounds, rust preventative oils, buffing compounds and metal forming lubricants. It is designed to remove oils and soils from the inside of tubular steel. It is compatible with most electrocleaning compounds.
ENPREP MTK 57L-AB
Designed to remove soils from difficult areas such as blind holes, crimped edges and from the inside of tubular steel. It floats soils making it easy to remove or separate soils. It is compatible with all electrocleaners and subsequent down line processes.

ENPREP MTK 750A
A potassium based powdered soak cleaner for steel, copper and copper alloys. Detergents allow rapid penetration and emulsification of difficult to remove drawing and stamping compound, rust preventative oils and specifically, heavy impacted buffing compounds.
ENPREP MTK 1003
An exceptional multi-purpose soak cleaner. It is designed to remove most standard shop oils and soils from copper, brass and aluminum, however it is equally effective on ferrous metals as well.

ENPREP 335, 336
Non-chelated electrocleaner specially formulated for zinc die-cast, brass and steel. Because of its high detergency, it can be utilized as a soak cleaner in many applications. Ideally suited for poor and hard water conditions. Phosphated and non-phosphated formulations.

Low wetted, multi-purpose alkaline soak/electrocleaner for copper, copper alloys, brass, leaded brass and steel. Its moderately low caustic level and high detergency enables the effective cleaning of steel parts as well, eliminating multiple electrocleaners.
ENPREP 334l, 369L, 370
Low foam, powerful, liquid electrocleaners for steel, copper, copper alloys and brass, leaded brass and in many cases zinc die-cast. Designed to inhibit the pitting and etching often associated with the electrocleaning of these metals. Ideal for the removal of buffing compounds, machine oils, cutting oils and shop soils. It is highly recommended for use in the processing of bumpers, furniture, plumbing fixtures or most any non-ferrous application. Unique surfactants and cleaning agents are only available in a liquid form.
All purpose, general soak/electrocleaner for steel and copper. It has exceptional cleaning power, removing a wide variety of oils, soils and greases from steel prior to any metal finishing operation. It is a medium alkaline product, slightly silicated and chelated, highly wetted, without phosphates. Available in powder, liquid or liquid additive formulations.
Removes a wide variety of oils, soils and greases from steel prior to any metal finishing operation. In many cases, it can act as a soak cleaner where limited cleaning is available. High alkaline product, slightly silicated non-chelated, non-phosphated, very low wetted. It quickly removes smuts, light rusts, weld and heat treat scale. ALUMON 101, CLEANER 1532
Exceptional phosphated, non-silicated, non-etch, heavy duty production cleaner designed to remove a wide variety of oils, soils and inks from aluminum, aluminum alloys, copper and steel. When used as directed, will remove stubborn soils without causing downline incompatibility problems with subsequent etch, deoxidize, chemical polish or plating baths. Alkleen 101 provides a super fine micro-etch finish under elevated temperatures. Ideal for parts that cannot be heavily etched yet require additional “bite” to assure adhesion of subsequent coatings.
Removes oil, dirt, chemical stains, rust, heat scale and oxides while simultaneously conditioning the metal surface in a single operation. Produces a surface that offers low surface resistance that is ideal for spot welding, while brightening and conditioning action make parts more receptive to conversion coatings, anodizing, painting and plating processes. On zinc die-cast, when used as an acid dip after cleaning, it is ideal in removing smuts.

ETCH 88, ALUMA ETCH 185, 188
Blended powder, liquid or liquid additive (LA) materials, that contains caustic (except LA’s), sequestrates, extenders and builders, that is specifically designed to provide safe, uniform, consistent etching of aluminum and aluminum alloys. It provides the ultimate in etch technology. They produce varying depths of etch, from a light satin finish to deep stock removal, as in chemical milling. They etch at elevated concentrations of dissolved aluminum without having to dump or decant the etch bath. The will not cause dry-on stains or run down patterns even on large sheets and long transfer times. They are biodegradable products designed to produce little or no build-up on tank walls and heating coils.
DEOXIDIZER 600, 616
Liquid material designed to deoxidize/desmut aluminum prior to anodizing, bright dipping, plating, painting, chromating and chemical polishing. It is approved under Boeing Aircraft specifications.

ENPREP MTK 54
A mid-alkaline, non-chelated, general purpose, heavy duty soak cleaner. It is primarily intended for steel, however, it has many applications on copper and copper alloys as well. It offers exceptional cleaning power in both rack and barrel applications. It is available in liquid (My T Kleen 54L) and liquid additive (My T Kleen 54LA) formulations.
ENPREP MTK LC-15
A potassium based liquid for copper, steel high-powered surfactants and detergents allow soils to be held in solution without re-deposition occurring. It will not “jell up” with buffing compound or other solids after extended use. Compatible with most electrocleaners, thus rinsing between cleaners is not necessary. Its cleaning formulation makes it ideal as the cleaner prior to electroplating, phosphating or any application where a tough cleaning problem is encountered.

Alloy Chrome Substitute
Enloy – Alloy Chrome Substitute (ACS) is a unique, new development in plating technology that offers decorative chrome performance without the expense, hazards and environmental problems of decorative chrome. It offers a non-tarnishing finish that provide superior salt spray performance compared to decorative hexavalent & trivalent chrome plating solutions.
Enloy ACS is recommended for plating over nickel and steel to produce a bright, stain-free chrome-like deposit. This economical alloy plating process can be utilized for either rack or barrel applications.
Enloy ACS offers outstanding throwing and covering power, plate distribution, a very wide bright plating range, faster plating rates, superior corrosion resistance as compared to typical proprietary decorative chrome systems. It features brighter, smoother deposits that are not sensitive to momentary current interruptions.
Enloy ACS produces a white-bright bluish color that duplicates the appearance of decorative chrome plating baths. It is not dark like trivalent chrome, or yellow or pink like nickel or cobalt alloys. It provides a consistent, reproducible color and corrosion protection over the entire current density range from load to load.
Enloy ACS is easy to control. All component chemistry are traceable and can be quickly and easily analyzed at the A Brite Technical Service Center. Most importantly ACS’s unique formulation is environmentally friendly, fume-free and easy to waste treat.

Perma Pass TRIDIP
A specially formulated liquid trivalent chromate conversion coating for all electrodeposited zinc surfaces. It brightens and passivates zinc surfaces leaving a pronounced blue film via the same chemical reaction that takes place in hexavalent chromates.
Perma Pass TRIDIP 105
A trivalent chromate conversion coating for all electrodeposited zinc surfaces. It provides a highly polished surface while passivating zinc surfaces leaving a bluer finish than conventional trivalent chromates. The results are a more consistent blue-bright finish that is reproducible load after load. It has much higher tolerance to impurities resulting in far less discoloration and yellowing associated with co-deposited iron. Also, far fewer problems are encountered with zinc stripping from low current densities due to its low zinc removal properties. “TRIDIP 105, when used in conjunction with BRITEGUARD Yellow 133 and BRITEGUARD RP-81, provides a high corrosion resistant trivalent yellow conversion coating.”
Perma Pass TRIDIP BLU
A liquid trivalent chromate conversion coating for all cyanide, and chloride zinc surfaces but especially for alkaline non-cyanide zinc. It brightens and passivates zinc surfaces leaving an attractive, deep, blue film color, eliminating yellowing found with other chromates. TRIDIP BLU typically has longer life due to a unique chemical reaction taking place at the surface of the part. This reaction regenerates the solution automatically, thus increasing the life of the chromate.
Perma Pass TRIDIP HC
A specially formulated one component liquid trivalent chromate conversion coating for all electrodeposited zinc surfaces. It brightens and passivates zinc surfaces leaving a pronounced blue film. It’s unique properties make it receptive to a variety of post-treatments. Periodic additions and infrequent dumping allows heavy production without downtime for fresh make-up or without interruption of chromate quality. TRIDIP HC provides a greater degree of salt spray protection than other similar type chromates, typically as much as 50-80 hours without topcoat.
Perma Pass TRIDIP ULTRA
Contains an added dye designed to produce a super-blue chromate finish on a consistent basis. The results are a more consistent blue-bright finish that is reproducible load after load.
Perma Pass TRIDIP 132
A chrome VI-free process that does not require additions of nitric acid. Periodic additions and infrequent dumping allows heavy production without downtime for fresh make-up or without interruption of chromate quality. It provides a finish that produces 150 hours of neutral salt spray to white corrosion and 250 hours to red rust. This exceeds auto industry specifications (GME-00252 and GMW-3044). “When top coated with BRITEGUARD RP-81 topcoat, it can provide up to 350-450 hours to white corrosion and up to 1000 hours to red rust”
Perma Pass TRIDIP CR-1
A specially formulated one component liquid, chrome VI-free, single-dip process that does not require additions of nitric acid. This trivalent chromate conversion coating is ideal for cyanide, alkaline non-cyanide, chloride, zinc/iron and zinc/cobalt electrodeposited zinc surfaces leaving a pronounced blue-bright film. When properly applied, it provides a finish that produces less than 5% white salts after 150 hours of neutral salt spray. This exceeds auto industry specifications (GME-00252 and GMW-3044C). “When used in conjunction with BRITEGUARD Yellow 133 and BRITEGUARD RP-81 or 89, provides a high corrosion resistant trivalent yellow conversion coating.”
Perma Pass TRIDIP CR-4
Is a new specially formulated, one component liquid trivalent chromate conversion coating for all electrodeposited zinc surfaces. It brightens and passivates zinc surfaces, leaving a pronounced blue-bright film. TRIDIP CR-4, when properly applied, provides a finish that produces less than 5% white salts after 250 hours of neutral salt spray. This exceeds auto industry specifications (GME-00252 and GMW-3044C). Top coat with a BriteGuard post-treatment process offers a minimum of 500 hours of protection.
Perma Pass SURTEC 650 CHROMITAL TCP
A chemical process that produces a highly corrosion resistant trivalent chromate conversion coating on aluminum and aluminum alloys. It can be applied by brush, spray or immersion. The color of the coating can be varied from faint blue to tan and iridescent. It also makes an excellent base for organic coatings (paint & powder coat). ChromitAL TCP is a drop in replacement for conventional hex-chrome coatings and matches or exceeds the properties of hex-chrome solutions. SurTec 650 chromitAL TCP is approved under Spec. MIL-DTL-81706, the Qualified Products List for Spec. MIL-C-5541 Type II, Class A&B, Form II, Method A & C. (336 hrs min. to NSS per ASTM B-117).
Specialty, Support & Protection Chemistry
This highly concentrated liquid material is used in the final rinse after zinc plate and chromate to enhance the overall performance of the deposit. It seals and hardens any chromate conversion coating to extend salt spray protection by as much as 100%. Briteguard CEX will actually increase chromate adhesion to zinc surfaces.
This is a pre-chromate activator used in the rinse station prior to any type of chromate that will provide a chemically clean, active surface ready to accept the final chromate finish. It neutralizes electrolyte films from cyanide, alkaline non-cyanide and chloride baths, as well as remove any organic film that may remain. It will reduce or eliminate chromate “sloughing” and cracking so often encountered with chloride electrolytes.
A water emulsifiable rust preventative oil designed to provide exceptional corrosion protection on bare steel, phosphated metal, black oxide, chromate conversion coatings and organic coatings. It produces a dry to the touch to an oily film, depending upon the finish desired.
The AF Series of products are used in chromic acid baths to create and maintain a foam blanket that prevents chromic acid mist and noxious fumes from entering the atmosphere. It also lowers the surface tension of the bath, effectively reducing drag-out of the solution.
This is a unique, chrome free, highly concentrated material, that is used to apply a thin, invisible, highly protective film on copper and brass. Unlike lacquers or oils, it reacts with the parts surface to form a superior corrosion and tarnish barrier. CB-29 is safe and economical to use, and does not create a waste treatment problem.
A highly concentrated, water soluble corrosion inhibitor and lubricating finish for bare steel, zinc plated and phosphated surfaces and most non-ferrous metals. Furnishes the required torque-tension lubricity for threaded fasteners and, in many cases, can be utilized as a light drawing or stamping lubricant.
This product is designed to apply a thin, dry, corrosion resistant film on any plated surface. It has been specifically designed to be utilized as a post-dip following any trivalent chrome plating process. It substantially improves the performance of the plated parts by reducing the rusting problems so often encountered with trivalent chrome plating. Leaves a dry to the touch finish that will not interfere with any post-treatment processes.
This is a new and unique water dip lacquer formulation that can be applied over a wide range of metal surfaces to increase corrosion resistance, eliminate tarnishing, finger marking and spotting out tendencies. Easy and economical to use, there are several formulations to meet specific requirements.
Surface Activation Products
A Brite has formulated a number of surface activation products for multiple applications. Many of these products are unique to A Brite in their design and function. Economical acid salt for use as a replacement for mineral acids. Provides activation prior to plating and is ideal as an acid dip for copper and copper alloys. Free flowing, dust free material that dissolves easily in water.
Premium blend of acid salts, activators and surfactants that removes oxides, rust, and heat scale. Provides activation without generating smut and with minimal attack on base metal. Use in a variety of applications.
Designed specifically for processing leaded steels. Improves adhesion of any plated surface and reduces blistering especially on electroless nickel. Easy to use, highly concentrated liquid material.
Acid additive that improves the descaling, activating and cleaning properties of acid pickles. Reduces surface tension of acid pickle baths, permitting more effective penetration of the acid solution into scale and metal pores. contains emulsifiers and dispersants to aid in removing grease and oils. Extends acid life by minimizing iron build-up. Forms foam blanket to eliminate fuming and spray.
Non-foaming acid additive that improves descaling and activating properties of acid pickles. Formulated without detergents, DA-2001 works well in hydrochloric, nitric, phosphoric, chromic, chromates and dry acid salts.
Unique material activates and chemically polishes the surface of the part, reducing of eliminating mineral acid polishing, grinding or vibratory finishing. Provides polishing action with minimal attack on the base metal assuring a bright, smooth finish. When used on copper or copper plate, it prevents copper from plating back on parts by immersion as well as removing any organic films left on the part.
Outstanding liquid activator specifically designed for use prior to electroless nickel to assure maximum activation and adhesion to high-strength steels. Eliminates blistering and peeling. Can be utilized on leaded steels, leaded brass, HSLA steels, Kovar and nickel.
Liquid material designed for use in the acid treatment of steel, copper, copper alloys, aluminum, aluminum alloys, aluminum diecast, zinc diecast, stainless steel, magnesium and titanium. Use in conjunction with dry acid salts, nitric, hydrochloric and sulfuric acids. Aids in the removal of oxides, rust, and heat treat scale. Also improves deoxidizing and activation capabilities of most acid pickles. Ideal for silicon aluminum alloys.
Alternatives to Cyanide Cadmium Plating
Cadmium has long been considered an ideal metal for many applications especially in the aircraft and aerospace industries. Until recently there were few alternatives to the use of high cyanide processes to electroplate cadmium and even fewer alternatives to the use of cadmium itself. A Brite Company also offers a complete range of chromate conversion coating processes, lacquers and rust preventives for use on zinc, zinc-alloy, cadmium,aluminum, tin and copper.
CAD GLO AC
A cyanide-free, bright, high performance acid cadmium plating process. Cad Glo AC operates in both rack and barrel appellations without solvents or chelating agents. Hydrogen embrittlement is low and the deposit readily accepts the full range of chromate conversion coatings. Difficult to plate metals, such as stainless steel, can often be plated directly in Cad Glo AC.
CAD GLO NC
A high performance, near-neutral, cyanide-free cadmium plating process. Cad Glo NC’s low metal formulation further reduces contamination of rinses with heavy metals. Chromate receptivity is excellent and hydrogen embrittlement. is low.
A unique non-chelated, non-cyanide, non-ammoniated zinc-cobalt alloy plating process. Zincalloy C bath chemistry allows for high plating efficiencies and reduced cycle time along with complete elimination of cadmium. The easy to chromate deposits exhibit outstanding corrosion resistance.
Bright Zinc Plating Processes
A Brite has a commitment to improve and refine current processes as well as research and develop new ideas in zinc plating technology. We offer a complete line of processes, from traditional cyanide, non-blistering alkaline non-cyanide, super bright chloride processes that are easy to chromate to the latest in zinc cobalt, zinc-nickel, and zinc-iron alloy chemistry. CZ Series Products provide outstanding performance across the entire plating range especially in low current density areas. Deposits are bright, ductile, and easily accept any type of chromate. All CZ Products are simple and easy to use. Many are supplied as single additive, aldehyde-free maintenance brighteners or multi-component systems for installations that require this type of plating flexibility.
Features the newest leader in alkaline non-cyanide zinc plating, ABZ-470 Zinc Technology. This aldehyde-free, non-sulfur system offers mirror bright, uniform, lustrous, blister-free, ductile, super fine-grained deposits. These deposits exhibit better throwing and covering power than previously available. The organic compounds contained in ABZ-470 Zinc Technology are cleaner and more stable, thus it markedly improves the low current density throwing power of the electrolyte. This results resulting in super-bright ultra-low current density areas without the use of auxiliary anodes. This process also features wide operating perimeters and high temperature tolerance while vastly increasing productivity.
KA & KZ SERIES
New plating systems that are a true advancement in the science of chloride zinc plating. These processes offer super bright, lustrous, ductile, fine-grained deposits without burning, staining or whiting out. This unique, technologically advanced formulation is designed to provide uniform deposit distribution similar to that of alkaline baths. Formulations are designed to take advantage of the mixed potassium/ammonium or pure potassium formulation of chloride electrolyte. Systems provide a cleaner organic surface, thus deposits accept chromates more readily than competitive processes, also this cleaner organic formulation provides substantially superior salt spray results. This improved corrosion feature is not available in any competitive system. In combination with a BriteGuard Protective System, a finished part is produced that is unsurpassed in salt spray performance.
This family of alloy zinc plating systems offers superior corrosion resistance never before available in a zinc plating process. Combined with the BriteGuard Protective System, deposits can withstand up to 10 times the corrosion resistance of conventional zinc. The Zincalloy Processes are available in zinc/cobalt, zinc/iron, and zinc/nickel formulations. All Zincalloy baths are easy to use, easy to control and easy to chromate.
Maximum Protection Chromate Conversion Coatings
Chromate Conversion coatings have been a time honored method of improving the corrosion resistance of zinc, and cad plating surfaces and for the long term protection of aluminum. A Brite research has improved traditional chromate coatings by extending product performance, offering a greater choice of colors and by providing post-dip processes that enhance salt spray and corrosion resistance.
All BRITEGUARD TRIDIP processes are liquid trivalent chromate conversion coatings for all electrodeposited zinc surfaces. They provide a highly polished surface while passivating zinc surfaces leaving a bluer finish than conventional trivalent chromates.
THE ORIGINAL standard trivalent chromate for most applications
Unique formulation for any zinc but especially for alkaline non-cyanide zincs, elimates yellowing often found with other chromates.

Provides a finish that exceeds 150 hours of neutral salt spray to white corrosion and 250 hours to red rust. This exceeds auto industry specifications. RoHS, WEEE & ELV compliant.
High corrosion resistant chromate for all zincs including zinc/iron and zinc/cobalt. Provides finish that produces less than 5% white salts after 150 hours of neutral salt spray. This exceeds auto industry specifications (GME-00252 and GMW-3044C). Can be utilized as either clear or yellow finish. RoHS, WEEE & ELV compliant.
BRITEGUARD PITCHBLACK Chromate Systems are designed to provide a uniform, consistent black deposit on all types of electroplated zinc. They have been specifically formulated for high production loads, where ease of use, consistent color and a high degree of corrosion protection are desired. PITCHBLACK provides a coating that is glossy, non-iridescent and non-conductive, with better adhesion and hardness than competitive black chromate coatings.
Perma Pass PITCHBLACK
Two part Black Chromate System that is designed to provide a uniform, consistent black deposit on all types of electroplated zinc.
Perma Pass PITCHBLACK CS
Provides better adhesion and hardness than competitive black chromate coatings. Meets all U.S. Government Specifications for corrosion resistance and is also specified under ASTM-201. Formulated with a UV blocker, thus coating will not fade or discolor. Parts will retain their deep, rich, black color.
All BRITEGUARD YELLOWS are highly concentrated liquids or powders that are designed to produce a wide range of finished coatings from iridescent yellow, golden bronze or leach-clear chromate conversion coating on zinc and cadmium plated surfaces, zinc die-castings or hot dip galvanized parts. It does not require additions of nitric acid. They are formulated for use on any type of zinc electrolyte, chromating cycle, or equipment used.
Powdered material that produces a bright, uniform, yellow chromate coating on zinc and cadmium plated surfaces, zinc die-castings or hot dip galvanized parts. It does not require additions of nitric acid. Simply dissolve in water and the bath is ready to use.
Enthox Yellow 2LA
Workhorse chromate for most applications. It has a high polishing action, enhancing the final finish of the part. Films set hard and fast, making it good for barrel, diecast and on deposits from acid zinc electrolytes, resulting in less rub off. More uniform in color.
Produces a chromate film, which can vary in color from bright gold-iridescent with green and yellow hues to dark gold iridescent with shades of red and gold. It has high polishing action, enhancing the final finish of the part.
Produces a darker more uniform yellow-gold appearance. A heavier chromate film is produced for those installations requiring such performance.
Enthox Yellow 2LS
Specifically formulated to eliminate adhesion, wipe-off and haze problems often encountered in chloride zinc electrolytes. This unique product will perform equally well along with any type of chloride electrolyte or chromating cycle used.
Enthox BRONZE 12
A unique two part yellow, which maintains a more uniform gold color with almost no iridescent green and red hues. Color depth can be adjusted from light to dark, while maintaining a low or non- iridescent gold color.
BLUE P, BLUE 1L & BLUE 3L
Easy to use hexavalent liquid and powder chromates that produce a clean, clear finish with a pronounced blue hue. Low operating concentrations, long bath life and overall economy contribute to this series of chromates as being the premium hex chromates in the industry.

SB PLUS II
A unique semi-bright nickel system that provides a bright, leveled, low stressed deposits without Coumarin or coumarin based materials. Provides outstanding corrosion protection in a single additive, easy to use package. Operates under most any operating conditions, while providing exceptional economy.
NICKEL PLUS II
Ultra high leveling bath designed for applications that require a lustrous, highly leveled, ductile finished on a wide variety of base metals. Provides outstanding low current density brightness, even in solutions contaminated with metallic or organic impurities. Economical, true single additive process, that offers super ductility and chrome receptivity. First choice for most nickel applications.
Economical, special purpose nickel system designed for short plating times and/or for parts have have unusual or intricate shapes. Features ductile deposits with unusually deep throw. Superior brightness and leveling across the plating range with thin deposits. Cleaner organics allows for a more trouble-free plating bath.

A versatile, heavy-duty bright nickel system specifically designed for applications that process zinc diecast. In solutions contaminated with this type of metallic impurity, parts can be processed without a loss in performance. Provides bright deposits, a high degree of leveling along with everyday workhorse reliability and economy. Plated deposits are bright, leveled, super ductile, and extremely low stressed that readily accept subsequent coatings of hexavalent or trivalent chrome.
A very unique bright nickel system specifically designed produce a thin strike deposit that contains dispersed insoluble particles over a NIBRITE bright nickel deposits. This creates a microporosity in the chrome deposit that then produces a final product that has superior corrosion resistance. It can be applied over a duplex nickel deposit for maximum protection or over a single layer of bright nickel with excellent results. If desired, a copper plate may be used along with the duplex or standard bright nickel deposit to improve the protective value.
NIDEX 660 & 660M
A versatile, high performance, heavy duty bright nickel system specifically designed to provide bright deposits, a high degree of leveling along with everyday workhorse reliability and economy. Plated deposits are bright, leveled, ductile, and low stressed that readily accept subsequent coatings of hexavalent or trivalent chrome. It offers fast, outstanding performance across the entire plating range, particularly in low current density areas and on parts with unusual configurations, making it ideal for either rack of barrel applications. It is available as a single additive maintenance system, or as a multi-component system for installations that require this degree of flexibility and control.
SATIN PLUS 640
A unique, high performance, neutral-satin nickel system. It is specifically designed to outperform any competitive system available by providing excellent color, variable neutral brightness range, versatility, reliability and economy. Thin or heavy coatings, deposits are uniform, consistent, low stressed and readily accept subsequent plated coatings.
A very unique satin technology that is specifically designed to provide a stable, reproducible, uniform satin plated finish. Plated deposits are uniform in color, consistent, and low stressed. Deposits are resistant to finger marking. It is supplied as a multi-component system to allow for specific satin appearance. Its low organic formulation does not break down and self contaminate. Unlike competitive processes, it does not leave a residue on the surface. The finish produced is gloss, semi-gloss or flat and ready to accept the next process subsequent finish such as chrome, gold, and brass with minimal effort.
A cyanide-free black nickel system that will produce a rich, black finish on most any material that will accept an electroplate. It is outstanding over a nickel deposit, providing a very deep “black chrome” appearance. Deposits are uniform black, and can be used as a final finish with topcoat or relieved to give a variety of antique finishes.
A new generation high performance chloride-based trivalent chrome process that is effective and easy to use. It has the ability to provide uniform performance over a wide range of current densities and operating conditions easily and economically. It is unaffected by current interruptions, and provides much better throwing power and coverage than hex chrome. The formulation performs better in presence of copper, zinc, iron, and nickel, the metallic impurities that most seriously affect deposit color and low current density performance. TC-920 provides a uniform, blue-bright deposit appearance that closely resembles hexavalent chrome coatings.
Premium performance chrome plating process for decorative applications. Offers higher current efficiencies without burning, wider bright plating ranges, smoother deposits, faster plating rates and better corrosion resistance. Maintains reliable performance even under adverse conditions. Can operate at lower concentrations without sacrificing performance. Self regulating, single additive formula is easy and economical to use.
CHROME PLUS LC Liquid catalyst used with chromic acid, produces a chrome bath similar to the CHROME PLUS PROCESS. Also used to adjust the catalyst level of a CHROME PLUS DECORATIVE bath or HARD CHROME bath.
A Brite manufactures several phosphate systems for iron phosphating, light, medium and heavy zinc phosphating and manganese phosphating. Available as spray or immersion, these systems meet all current specifications for phosphating, and are easy and economical to use. Also available are dip-spin processes, non-chromated sealers, oils and waxes. Your A Brite representative can supply more information on the complete line of phosphate products and support chemicals.
Heavy manganese phosphate provides corrosion protection as well as a base for solid film lubricants, break-in, anti-wear and anti-scuffing applications. Single additive package provides a uniform porous deposit with a coating weight in the range of 3000-5000 mg/ft2.
Excellent corrosion protection on ferrous surfaces. Capable of withstanding over 500 hours of salt spray resistance in accordance with ASTM-B-117. Excellent lubricity for the break in of wearing parts or for torque tension control on threaded fasteners. Ideal for fasteners, nuts, bolts and automotive components such as pulleys, hinges, latches and other types of sub-assemblies.
Dual-purpose product for cleaning and iron-phosphating ferrous, aluminum and galvanized metals. Work is free of rust and scale. Processed thru spray wand and steam cleaning equipment for phosphatizing parts that are too large or too heavy for dip or spray washers.
Iron phosphate that deposits a paint bonding iron phosphate on steel and aluminum without molybdenum. Low foaming, used in 3 or 5 stage spray applications. Ideal for applications that experience frequent line stops. Contains powerful detergents.
Room temperature, non-molybdenum phosphate for steel and aluminum. Low foaming, used in 3 or 5 stage spray applications. Maximum extended salt spray resistance available in an iron phosphate. Meets Federal Specifications TT-C-490B, Type II, Coating weight of 23-45 mg/ft2.
Wipe on or brush application iron phosphate for steel and aluminum. Contains detergents, providing a complete, easy to use product. Provides excellent corrosion protection as well as protects against the spread of corrosion even when the paint film is broken.
Low temperature micro-crystalline zinc phosphate provides excellent corrosion protection and paint base on steel, aluminum, zinc & zinc plated surfaces. Low amount of sludge, thus it offers outstanding operating life in production.
Nickel-free zinc phosphate provides excellent corrosion protection and paint base on ferrous surfaces. Medium-high crystalline deposit with coating weights of 1400-1800 mg/ft2.
Heavy zinc phosphate coating for steel, which provides and excellent base for the application of rust retardant oils. Produces a dense macro-crystalline deposit with coating weights of 1000-3000 mg/ft2.
SEAL 102, 221
Non-chrome polymer final rinse to improve paint adhesion and minimize under film corrosion on painted parts. Use either as immersion or spray rinse on steel, aluminum zinc plate and zinc substrates. Primarily used on iron or zinc phosphate prior to painting, also has applications on unpainted surfaces and in sealing and protecting plated surfaces. Does not interfere with painting, powder coating, or welding.
SEAL 724, 764
Liquid final sealing rinse after an iron phosphate. Offers excellent corrosion resistance and additional paint adhesion. Eliminates the hazard and expense of handling hexavalent and trivalent chrome in the final seal.
RINSE CONDITIONER NC
An acidic liquid chemical used to improve the paint adhesion and minimize under-film corrosion on painted parts. Used either in an immersion or spray rinse.
3/4 Hex or trivalent chrome based final sealing rinses for iron or micro/macrocrystalline zinc phosphate. Excellent corrosion resistance and additional paint adhesion over any phosphate system. Enhances salt spray performance and detergent resistance of the finished part.

ENSTRIP 80, 80LA & 82L
Highly alkaline, heavily chelated, soak cleaner/descaler designed to remove heavy rust, carbon smut, oxides, scale, weld discoloration and paints from steel and stainless steel. Can be used on critical parts that cannot tolerate hydrogen embrittlement normally associated with acid pickles. No chemical attack as with conventional acid treatments. Compatible with most soak and electrocleaners. Can be utilized in the cleaner tank to boost the cleaning performance and efficiency of most cleaners.
Designed to safely remove anodized coatings from aluminum. It works quickly and effectively without attack on the aluminum substrate.
Removes electrolytic and electroless nickel and copper deposits from steel with reverse current. Requires no special equipment. One solution will strip a variety of metals, reducing the need for multiple products.
ENSTRIP NCB, NCNS
Removes electrolytic and electroless nickel deposits from copper, brass, zinc die-cast and steel by immersion. Ease of operation, no fuming, almost complete elimination of operator hazards and simplifies waste treatment of the bath. Strips electrolytic nickel deposits at the rate of 1-2 mils per hour and dissolve 2.5 to 6 ounces of nickel metal per gallon of solution.
ENSTRIP RACK STRIP #1
Use with nitric acid to form a fast acting, heavy duty, immersion rack stripper. Strips copper/nickel/chrome build-up from stainless steel plating racks 80% faster than conventional nitric acid strippers. Eliminates up to 95% of the highly toxic gas that is evolved with conventional nitric acid stripping. Eliminates the nitric oxide gas generated in conventional strippers, reducing attack on plastisol or PVC coatings.
Electrolytically removes metallic coatings, such as copper/nickel/chrome build-up from stainless steel plating racks. Metals are removed by anodic dissolution and physical desegregation. Even thick, multiple layers of coatings can be quickly and completely removed.
ENSTRIP 301, 302
Designed to provide fast, powerful removal of organic coatings without the use of methylene chloride or phenolic compounds. It is a unique blend of solvents, detergents, penetrants and emulsifiers that quickly remove tough powder coats, paints and lacquers without attack on the substrate. It strips epoxys, alkyd, ureas, phenolic melamines, lacquers and polyester coatings, in conventional or high solid paints, or powder coating. Safely removes coatings from steel, aluminum, zinc, copper & brass without discoloring or etching. Non-toxic material easily disposed of after paint solids have been removed.
Cold stripper for powerful removal of organic coatings without the use of phenols, phenolic compounds or methylene chloride. Quickly removes powder coats, paints, lacquers and other organiccoatings without attack on substrate. Environmentally friendly.
ENSTRIP 28, 31
Stripper system for the safe removal of most types of paints without attacking the base metal. Does not contain any phenolic compounds, chromates or other heavy metals or their salts, or Methylene Chloride.
Removes tin-lead and tin deposits from copper and copper based alloys. It provides fast, safe stripping without etching the base metal.
SOLDER ENSTRIP #3
Non-peroxide liquid stripper to remove tin-lead and tin deposits from copper and copper based alloys. Fast, safe stripping leaving copper bright without the etching the base metal. It is effective on both fused and unfused deposits. Produces less gassing, leaves distinct line of demarcation between stripped and unstripped areas while reducing dark holes caused by attack of stripper fumes above tape line.
Cold stripper for powerful removal of organic coatings without the use of phenols or phenolic compounds. Blend of penetrants, emulsifiers and methylene chloride that quickly removes powder coats, paints, lacquers and other organic coatings without attack on substrate.
Electroless Nickel Plating Processes

ENPLATE QUASAR ENS
This easy to use electroless nickel process is specifically formulated to provide an insoluble barrier deposit onto zincated aluminum prior to additional electroless nickel or bright nickel plating. The use of this bath will significantly extend the bath life of the electroless nickel plating solution and approach that commonly attained when plating steel.
