Bentonite clays and blended formulations

Our systems are primarily Bentonite clay systems that are designed to remove a range of oils, metals and suspended solids.

WBC products are based on sodium bentonite clay. They are available pure or blended with other dry chemicals to treat a wide range of wastewater streams. Polymers and other powders are mixed with clay and are time released when added to a waste stream. A series of sequential chemical reactions take place without operator intervention, saving time and labor. The entire treatment process is simplified by minimizing treatment steps and equipment needed. 

 WBC products will encapsulate contaminates, resulting in a sludge that is usually non-leachable and therefore non-hazardous, substantially reducing disposal cost. It removes oil and grease while reducing BOD, TSS and heavy metals. WBC products also create a strong filterable floc by allowing the floc to readily release water resulting in a drier sludge cake.

Full charge emulsion anionic polymer designed for maximum performance heavy metal precipitation. Diluted stock solutions are used at the rate of 8-10 ppm. Finest and most economical emulsion polymer available.

A unique, high molecular weight, super concentrated, low-medium charge, cationic poly-acrylamide designed to be used as a precipitation aid and sludge conditioner for waste water treatment systems. This acrylic acid/acrylamide copolymer usually performs well between the 8.0-12.0 pH range.

Highly concentrated liquid designed to precipitate heavy metals from aqueous mediums. Solutions treated with DROPOUT provide heavy metal precipitates that have much lower solubility’s and generate less sludge than their respective sodium and magnesium hydroxide precipitates. Effective over a wide pH range.

WTP 440 is a liquid material specifically designed to treat and remove heavy metals from waste streams. It can be used as a DTC/Carbamate substitute or replacement and in some situations may perform better. The product performs best at a pH of 8 –9 however it can also be used over a wide pH range and when used as directed, provides nearly complete precipitation of metals even in the presence of heavy chelating or sequestering agents. With regular use, it produces a sludge cake that is compact, highly insoluble and easily dewatered

Highly concentrated liquid, designed to defoam waste water streams. It is highly effective in defoaming cleaners, anodizing sealers, treated plating baths, screen room and other metal finishing effluent applications. Water based defoamer does not contain any silicone, silicates or petroleum products.
